Tommy thinks he knows it all
He read it on the internet
And shared it half a dozen times
He knows it must be true
He doesn’t really know it yet
But everything he knows is wrong
Real is an illusion
What’s an idiot to do?
And now Johnny gets to do it
Cause his parents paid him through it
He can afford to sit around and play his video games
And when he shits upon a canvas he is lauded for his efforts
And his talent overflowing
Here’s the the art world, what a shame
Don’t you think you give yourself a bad name?
Don’t you think you give yourself a bad name?
Judy feels entitled
Her opinions are unbridled
And she’d argue with a wall if it stood in her way
And so she stands around offended
With her statements undefended
And she still expects you’ll listen to what she’s got say
Don’t you think you give yourself a bad name?
Don’t you think you give yourself a bad name?
Don’t you think you give us all a bad name?
Don’t you think you give us all a bad name?

It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
Perfectly gloomy Norwegian goth/post-punk, anchored by a punchy rhythm section and driven by chiming guitar lines and morose vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 16, 2021
